A brand new lovely apartment in a typical
Andalusian village. Newly build town
house situated in the tranquil setting of
old village just off the main town square
in the popular town of Ardales, close to
all amenities. Fantastic views
overlooking the lakes and village, big
windows light and bright, easy parking. A
big sun roof terace with breath taking
views.
The pueblo ARDALES is a typical
Andalucian whitewashed village. The
village plaza buzzes with life and
families sit out enjoying a drink with
friends late into the summer evenings.
The village has a selection of shops,
banks, bars and restaurants. Ardales is
situated at the edge of Ardales National
Park which is one of Spain's best kept
secrets. The park consists of a series of
turquoise lakes set in magnificent
mountain scenery ideal for hiking,
climbing, mountain biking, swimming,
fishing, bird watching etc. Sunbeds,
pedalos and canoes are available for hire
at the lakes. There are also a selection
of restaurants with lakeside views. Close
by is the famous El Chorro gorge. The
village of Ardales has wonderful caves
and trips can be booked from the museum.
Also near by is the village of Carratraca
with it´s Roman baths, fantastic views
and authentic Bull ring. There is a bus
stop within Ardales with regular services
into Malaga, Ronda, Alora & other
local villages
Village of Ardales just under the huge
rock where the ruins of a Medieval castle
can be visited. It is an ideal spot
whether you want to relax and unwind in
the beautiful Spanish countryside or
prefer a more active life. Ideal base for
touring, walking, biking, climbing, bird
watching etc, etc.
Coast/Beach
The fashionable Costa del Sol is 45
minutes drive to the nearest beaches.
There is a very wide choice of beaches
from the popular tourist resorts of
Benalmadena and Torremolinos to the
up-market Marbella and Puerto Benús.
Boat trips, Dolphin trips, water skiing,
banana rides etc are available in most of
these areas.
Distances
This is the real Spain, yet only 40
minutes from the beaches of the Costa del
Sol. The historic town of Ronda is
approximately 45 minutes drive away and
the great cities of Seville, Granada and
Cordoba are all under 2 hours drive.
